OHTA PD Days, June 2011
OHTA have prepared another two day PD session for History teachers. Speakers over the two days include Prof Tom Brooking, Dr Mark Sheehan and Dr Angela Wanhalla. GRADE SCORE MARKING
There is new information out about this on the NZQA site. Students will continue to receive these results as N, A, M, E under this system – there is no impact on teaching or preparation for the examinations. It is important to continue to encourage your students to answer all parts of the question in the final examinations.

NZHTA AGM
The NZHTA AGM was held on the 7th May, during this meeting the structure of the new National Executive was decided, and the following appointments to positions were announced:
1. Chairperson: Lara Hearn-Rollo, Queen’s High School, Dunedin
2. Immediate Past Chairperson: John Downes, Kaikorai Valley High School, Dunedin
3. Vice – Chairperson: Graeme Ball, Northcote College, Auckland
4. Treasurer: Wayne Pahl, Craighead Diocesan School, Timaru
5. Secretary: Tim Cameron, Napier Boys’ High School
In addition to the above, regional delegates are sought from:
6. Auckland Tai-Tokerau (Northland): TBC
